I am 46 years old, and I live at Kiteezi village in Wakiso District. I am a widow living with 10 children whom are orphans, 2 of these children are for my deceased brother and another two for my deceased sister, both of them died from AIDS.
I got a first loan and I used it to buy pigs. I used to sell piglets to other women in my group and I was able to raise money which i topped up with another loan I got and started the chicken Project. I even managed to build a house for the chicks. I praise the loan. It has moved my entire family to another new level, where we shouldn't have reached without the loan.
After the loans now i have a flourishing chicken project, and with it i look after my orphans, buy them food and other essential needs. I have an income of 200,000/= a month, which i couldn't have got before, even a quarter of it.
I hope to extend my project when I get another loan and perhaps get layers chicks for eggs because it is more profitable.
Thank you so much for coming to us and providing us with the loans.
