Donations for the microfinance program
What your contributions can do: (based on what past borrowers have done)

$20 funds the start up of mobile phone minutes card, start-up a craft business
$40 can buy 100 banana plantlets, purchase a bicycle for delivering goods, open a produce kiosk, or start a second-hand clothing business
$50 can build a family latrine (helps prevent disease)
$60-70 can buy a mobile phone to start up a pay phone service, purchase a sewing machine for a tailoring busines, or rent space to open or expand an existing business
$80 can buy a hair dryer for a salon business, purchase a solar battery charger for home lighting, or buy 200 coffee plants to start a small coffee plantation
$100-125 can build a home water harvesting system, by a goat for breeding purposes, purchase a typewriter for a stationary business, buy 200 egg-layer chicks, or buy piglets and a sty to start a pig farm.
$300 can build a home bio-gas production facility for cooking and even lighting fuel.

The best part is that because these are loans, your donation will be able to provide these benefits over and over and over again. The more money we have in our microfinance program, the more women and youth we will be able to reach.
