Get Involved

WCDP is always eager to accept the participation of interested people.  There are many ways one can get involved with the work we do.  We are always looking for Board of Director members, volunteer staff (both in the US and abroad), communities to work in and other organizations to partner with.  Our most exciting way to become involved, perhaps, is our Voluntourism program.

Voluntourism

WCDP is currently developing several opportunities to travel to Uganda for Voluntourism trips. Our voluntourism programs puts individuals or groups into our communities to work with the women and youth groups.  You may bring a special skill, or just offer an extra set of hands to complete a project.

Volunteerism

WCDP is also eager to accept individuals interested in volunteering their time for administrative assistance, including legal, accounting, website management, marketing, fundraising and other activities. Partner Organizations

Board of Directors/Advisory Board

WCDP is a young organization that has been slowly growing over that past few years.  We would like to see a more rapid expansion in our program funds, program opportunities and the countries we work in.  In order to accomplish this we will need assistance from a strong Board of Directors.  Interested parties should come prepared to engage current executive staff, pushing us to excel and grow, while providing the necessary financial support to achieve our goals.  If this sounds like you, please send a statement of how you can contribute to John Ahrens at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
