Voluntourism Program

WCDP is working with Uganda Eco Tours, a local Ugandan tourism operator, to provide a volunteer experience with WCDP during a planned trip to Uganda.  These trips can be organized by individuals, small groups, or even as a college level class eligible for college credit during a summer break.  Generally we would plan for a 10-day stay, and the program would include spending time, and even living with, the women involved in our microfinance program.  However, your voluntourism experience can be customized to your interests and schedule.

Uganda Eco Tours can handle any part or all of your travel preparations including airfare, hotel accommodations and home stays, and sight-seeing within Uganda.  We want your experience to not only meet, but exceed your expectations while providing valuable assistance and support to the WCDP microfinance program.
